It started from a small school based woodwork business all the way to the forefront of the property industry. The company was founded in 1998 as a property broking agency which expanded in its industry. Our self imposed goals and standards and our will to change, to be successful, to deliver and to achieve excellence brought us on this road of uncompromising faith in ourselves. Through persistence we came to the realization of our purpose in the community we serve. We want to use every opportunity to embrace the future of the company, our clients and associates. Our objective is to understand property, to identify its potential and to release that potential in order to again gain from it. Waterstreet Commercial, a subsidiary of the Oscar Saunderson Trust became known for its extensive knowledge and high sales volumes in previously disadvantaged areas such as Cape Town’s Cape Flats and Philippi East with sales covering 740 ha in 2005/2006 alone. Together with local Government and the Private Sector the founders started the Philippi Re-development Project 7 years ago. Industrial and Commercial Developments were initiated in the area which were followed by great success and excellent results. The current success in Philippi East can be ascribed to a Strategic and Marketing plan which was based on an in-depth and thorough market and area study of the area. Our head office is situated in Goodwood, Cape Town and our extensive network allows us to market our properties throughout the republic and neighboring countries. Inception The founding members originally come from corporate structures, both national and internationally in the property industry. Their specialties being in financing, project management, worldwide franchise development, management and consulting.
